New York: Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison by a New York judge on Tuesday for helping the deceased investors who were humiliated by Jeffrey Epstein sexually sexually harassing.
The term, which was revealed in the Federal Court of Manhattan, means that the 60 -year -old former socialite will spend most of the rest of his life in prison.

Girls with an educated Oxford from the late Press British Baron Robert Maxwell were sentenced to the end of five of the six charges, the most serious for minors of sex trade.

His lawyer argued for the relief of punishment, quoting a traumatic childhood and claimed that Maxwell was punished unfairly because Epstein escaped from the trial.

They have asked for a maximum of five years while the prosecutor has asked between 30 and 55 years in prison.

During Maxwell’s high profile trial at the end of 2021, the prosecutor managed to prove that he was a key” for the Epstein scheme that captivated young girls to give him a massage, where he would sexually harass them.

Two Epstein victims, identified as “Jane” and “Carolyn,” testified that they were as young as 14 when Maxwell began to care for them.

Maxwell’s lawyer said their client had a “difficult and traumatic childhood with an arrogant, narcissistic, and demanding father.”

It made him vulnerable to Epstein, which he met right after the death of his father,” they wrote in the submission submitted earlier this month.

Epstein money manager committed suicide in prison in 2019 aged 66 while waiting for the trial of his own sex crime in New York.

MS Maxwell cannot and cannot bear all the punishment that should be responsible for Epstein,” his lawyer begged.

But the prosecution argues in the submission of his own court last week that Maxwell “was an adult who made his own choice.”

They argue that he has shown “lack of regret” for his crime, which was carried out between 1994 and 2004.

Today’s punishment asks for Ghislaine Maxwell’s accountability for committing a heinous crime against children,” Damian Williams, US lawyer for the South New York District, said.

This sentence sends a strong message that there is no one above the law and there is no word late for justice,” he added.

Ghislaine must die in prison,” said Maxwell and Epstein, Sarah Ransome told reporters outside the court.

Maxwell’s punishment limits a dramatic fall for former international jetsetters who grew up in wealth and privileges as friends for nobles.

The circle includes Prince Andrew England, former US President and Real Estate Baron Donald Trump and Clinton family.

In February, Prince Andrew completed a lawsuit for sexual harassment with Virginia Giuffre, who said he had been traded to Royal by Epstein and Maxwell.

He failed to argue that a jury, who was bragging helped convince his fellow panelists to punish Maxwell by remembering his own experience as a victim of sexual harassment, had combined the jury.
