New Delhi: Deputy US National Security Advisor Dalep Singh, who has played a key role in forming American sanctions against Russia, is expected to travel to New Delhi this week for meetings with Indian talk around the time of visit by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

Indian-American officials, who are representative of the National Security Advisor for the International Economy and Deputy Director of the US National Economic Council, have helped design sanctions that target President Vladimir Putin and inner circles and Russian entities after the invasion of Ukraine.

Singh is expected to be in the Indian capital for a meeting on March 31, people who are familiar with the problem on Tuesday.
