British Prime Minister Candidate Rishi Sung has insisted that he prefers to lose the leadership of the conservative party to replace Boris Johnson rather than winning with false promises about how he plans to overcome the economic crisis.
In an interview with the BBC, the former British Indian Chancellor said he was committed to helping families who were most vulnerable to the crisis of living expenses and feeling “moral responsibility to go further” and provide “additional assistance” during winter.
This problem has become the main separator line between him and his rival, Foreign Minister Liz Truss, who has promised tax cuts which according to the former Minister of Finance will benefit the richer household than those who need it the most.
What I specify to do is to help people throughout this country through what will be a very difficult winter. My first preference always does not take money from people in the first place,” he said.
When the candidates continue to be roasted by members of the conservative party who will vote in the election at Hustings up and down England, the problem of soaring inflation and the price has dominated the agenda.
People can judge me in my notes,” said Sung again in his BBC interview on Wednesday night, calling his work as a Chancellor through Covid Lockdown.
People can judge me in their records – when the bill rose around 1,200 pounds earlier this year, I made sure the most vulnerable to receive around 1,200 pounds,” he said.
