Gurmeet Ram Rahim has served a life for the murder of a journalist

Chandigarh: Dera Sacha Sauda Head Gurmeet Ram Ram Singh and the other four have been sentenced to life imprisonment in the murder of the Ranjit Singh manager almost two decades ago.
The other fourth is Krisan Lal, Jasbir Singh, Avtar Singh and Sabdil.
Ram Rahim will also pay ₹ 31 lakh. The other convicts will also pay a fine – Abdil has been told to pay ₹ 1.5 lakh, Krishnan and Jasbir have to pay ₹ 1.25 lakh each and AVTAR must pay ₹ 75,000.
Fifty percent of this number will go to the Ranjit Singh family.
The sixth allegations in this case died a year ago.

Earlier this month the CBI Special Court in Panchkula Haryana found fifth guilty.
Ram Rahim, who has nested in Sunaria prison in Rohtak district since his 2017 beliefs for rape two followers, emerged through video conferencing; others are present in court.
The police have tightened security in Panchkula and Sanda (where the sect is headquartered) to anticipate the possibility of violence after the court sentenced him.

However, this problem was postponed to this day after advice for defense looking for time to examine several arguments carried out by prosecution during hearing punishment.
Ranjit Singh, who is the manager and also a follower of the sect, was shot dead in 2002.
He was killed because of his alleged role in the circulation of anonymous letters serving how women were sexually exploited by Ram Ram.

According to the CBI cost sheet, Ram Ram then hatched the conspiracy to kill him.
Apart from the 20-year sentence for rape (revealed in 2017), RAM Rahim has also been given another life period – this time for the murder of RAM Chandrapati journalist.
