The large-scale explosion and fire hit the military depot in Crimea which was colored by Russia on Tuesday, forcing evacuation of more than 3,000 people, the second time in recent days that the focus of the Ukrainian war had switched to the contested peninsula.

A few days after the fire at Airbase Saki, an ammunition depot exploded in Northern Crimea, injuring two people on Tuesday, reporting the Associated Press news agency, quoting local officials.

Fires and explosions shook Mayskoye Village in the Dzhankoi District in Crimea Tuesday morning, Russian media reported. The Russian Ministry of Defense said the fire erupted in a “location for temporary storage of ammunition of one of the military units.”

In other news, Ukraine can export 3 million tons of seeds from its ports in September and maybe in the future can export 4 million tons from them every month, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Yuriy Vaskov said on Tuesday. He said Ukraine had received an application for 30 ships to come to Ukraine in the next two weeks to export seeds.
